This is especially the case with clients who reuse plastic syringes; the plunger looses its lubrication and the rubber boot on the plunger becomes sticky causing the whole plunger to become stuck in the syringe barrel. Very high pressure is required to push the plunger out which causes the "O" rings in the flowmeter to "pop" which in turn causes a leak. Those clients considering purchasing an OL80W might wish to consider ordering an alternative generator without a flowmeter such as our OL80F/S or OL80F/DST.
